AC Gear Motor
AC gear motor is a small AC motor that features a precision miniature gearbox fitted to a compact motor.
Zhongda AC gear motors seamlessly integrate a precision miniature gearbox with a compact electric motor. This creates an efficient reduction drive mechanism. The integrated gearbox can be categorized into standard gearboxes, right-angle gearboxes, and intermediate gearboxes. While the standard and right-angle variants are directly connected to the motor, the intermediate gearbox is specially designed to achieve reduction ratios beyond the capabilities of standard gearboxes. Specifically, when a reduction ratio surpasses 200:1, an intermediate gearbox should be paired with a standard or worm gearbox. Notably, the intermediate gearbox doesn't change the torque.
Our AC gear motor range includes induction motors, speed control motors, reversible motors, brake motors, and torque motors. They are extensively applied in sectors such as electronics, barrier systems, entertainment, and medical equipment. Known for the high transmission ratios, low noise, and prolonged lifespan, our AC gear motors come in various frame sizes: 60, 70, 80, 90, and 104mm, with power ratings from 6W to 200W (6W, 10W, 15W, 25W, 40W, 60W, 90W, 120W, 150W, 180W, 200W). They are compatible with both single-phase and three-phase AC power and offer reduction ratios from 3~200K.
In terms of standard gear reduction ratios, Zhongda offers ratios from 3K up to 750K. Incorporating an intermediate gearbox can amplify this ratio. For instance, pairing a 200K output gearbox with an 10K intermediate gearbox yields a 2000K ratio. Right-angle gearboxes are also compatible with our products, where the input and output shafts stand perpendicular. Our high precision helical gears are crafted with advanced tools, with concentricity and positional precision reach up to IT6 level. Our right-angle gearboxes employ a Gleason bevel gear structure, providing high transmission efficiency and substantial load capacity, and meanwhile requiring minimal maintenance.
Induction motor is an electric motor integrating a precision miniature gearbox and a compact motor to modify the speed with gear transmission. With the electromagnetic induction effect, the induction motor generates induced current in the rotor to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. As a stationary part of the induction motor, the stator consists of a core with windings, and a motor frame. And, the rotor as a rotating part is made up of cylindrical core, rotor winding and shaft.
Speed control motor is a motor designed on the basis of induction gear motor by mounting a speed regulation control unit at the end. The adjustment of actual speed is conducted via a magnetic ring and feedback unit.
Reversible motor features a simple brake that allows the motor to frequently and rapidly change the direction of rotation.
Brake motor employs a mechanical brake located at the end of the motor, enabling the motor suitable for applications requiring vertical loads to be held in place.
The chief difference between torque motor and induction motor is rotor material. The former adopts pure iron rotor while the latter utilizes cast aluminum rotor. The torque motor can operate continuously under a specific pressure, primarily suitable for winding applications.
